world’s leading deluxe Scotch whisky, is attracting some of the best golfers in
the world to Beijing next week. Playing in Asia Pacific’s premier golf
tournament, taking place in the People’s Republic of China for the very first
time, will be: World #3 ERNIE ELS and RETIEF GOOSEN, the world #5, both from
South Africa; Spain’s SERGIO GARCIA, the world #8; ADAM SCOTT from Australia,
the world #10; Englishman LUKE DONALD, world #16 and the defending champion and
world #18 MIGUEL ANGEL JIMENEZ from Spain.

Chinese #1, ZHANG LIAN WEI; the Korean #1, K J CHOI’ the Danish #1, THOMAS
BJORN; Scottish #1, Ryder Cup hero and seven time winner of the European Tour
Order of Merit, COLIN MONTGOMERIE; the Thai #1 THONGCHAI JAIDEE; Indian #1,
JYOTI RANDHAWA; Singapore’s #1, MARDAN MAMAT; Philippine’s legendary FRANKIE
MINOZA; Six time ‘Major’ winner and two time JOHNNIE WALKER CLASSIC winner,
NICK FALDO from England; Past winner MICHAEL CAMPBELL, from New Zealand;
England’s rising star PAUL CASEY, ranked 35 in the world and past US Masters
Champion, and the previous world #1, IAN WOOSNAM, the 1996 Johnnie Walker
Classic champion who recently was confirmed as captain of the 2006 European

In all, there will be players from 25 countries playing in the JOHNNIE
WALKER CLASSIC, April 21-24, at the prestigious Pine Valley Golf Resort &
Country Club.
