Allegiance Mining NL ( ASX Code AGM ) is pleased to announce that at a
special meeting held on 28th June 2005 the West Coast Council of Tasmania
approved the Development Application P87/2004 and Environmental Management Plan
for the Avebury Nickel Project.

In the last five years the company has focused on developing the Avebury
project. Ian Levy, CEO of Allegiance said “these approvals, together with the
earlier granting by the Tasmanian State Government of the Avebury Mining Lease
mean that the rigorous and detailed process of gaining all key regulatory
approvals required for the commercial development of the Resource have now been
achieved.

The Definitive Feasibility Study for the Avebury Nickel Project is well in
hand with the infill drilling now complete and the metallurgical test work 80%
completed. Resource estimation modelling is nearing completion and the mine
planning stage has now commenced by newly appointed Mining Manager, David
Leedham and Consultants Coffey Geosciences. The Definitive Feasibility Study is
on schedule for completion by September/October 2005.

Allegiance Chairman, Tony Howland-Rose and the West Coast Council Mayor,
Darryl Gerrity have welcomed the completion of this important step and have
complimented the close cooperation of all parties concerned. Darryl Gerrity
said "The West Coast is excited about this new nickel prospect discovered by
Allegiance. Its unanimous approval symbolizes a new era in the West Coast,
especially as Allegiance will be processing its ore in the West Coast."
