line of appliances, today announced the opening of its Asia Pacific regional
headquarters and the appointment of Daniel Schneersohn as vice president and
general manager for Asia Pacific and Japan.
The opening of this office in Hong Kong and the hiring of Schneersohn mark
the next step for Astaro in its commitment to the region. The company expects
to open additional local offices throughout the region as it makes available
new Asian language products in the coming quarters.

living in the region for more than 15 years. He has worked extensively with
channel and enterprise customers, first at Symantec Corporation where he was
responsible for setting up the company’s presence in North Asia and then with
Symantec’s channel sales and partner programs across Asia Pacific. Later in
his career at NetScreen, he managed sales for Asia Pacific and Japan.
