BEIJING, Nov. 29 /MediaNet International-AsiaNet/ –

SAI Global (ASX:SAI) will join Motorola and Corning as a host sponsor of the
global telecommunication industry’s premier conference, QuEST Forum, to be held
in Beijing, China on 1 December 2005.

Formed in 1998, QuEST Forum is a partnership of telecommunications service
providers, suppliers, and liaison organizations, and aims to be a leading force
in improving the quality, reliability, and performance of telecom products and
services around the world. SAI’s North American education and training company,
Excel Partnership, Inc., has been a member of QuEST Forum since 1999.

According to President of SAI Global’s Professional Services, Mr David
Middleton: “Globalization has driven the need for a common set of quality
requirements throughout the telecommunications supply chain.”

“In response, QuEST Forum developed and now maintains the TL 9000 quality
management system requirements and measurements handbooks.”

TL 9000 is the industry’s extension to ISO 9001:2000 and includes four
supplemental areas:

* reliability and associated costs

* software development and life-cycle management

* requirements for specialized service functions

* requirements to address continuing supply chain communications issues

“Through SAI Global, Excel Partnership is an active participant in all QuEST
Forum work groups and holds leadership positions in several areas,” Mr
Middleton said.

“We’re also responsible for TL 9000 training of QuEST Forum members prior to
their joining the Forum’s Board of Directors that includes senior executives
from Cisco, Corning, Fujitsu and Verizon.”

“As an SAI Global company, we’re committed to supporting and promoting the
strategic objectives of QuEST Forum,” Mr Middleton said.

These objectives include:

* promoting a collaborative global and regional forum of industry leaders

* identifying and sharing best practices to improve operational performance

* harmonizing global industry quality management system requirements and
measurements

* the capture and benchmark of key industry performance data to drive
improvement of end-customer experience

“QuEST Forum operates in several regional hubs around the world and its
Beijing Conference will provide an excellent opportunity to promote the
business benefits of TL 9000 training and certification in the developing
Asia-Pacific telecommunications market,” Mr Middleton said.
