- Mitsui and Buongiorno approved JV business plan for 2006 and
decided to complement the initial investment up to US$7.6
million

- The additional investment comes out after JV’s encouraging
early results, and is aimed to give JV adequate financial
resources to exploit the great opportunities offered by
the mobile VAS markets

Buongiorno Vitaminic SpA (MTAX STAR, Italian Stock Exchange - ticker:
BVIT), and Mitsui & Co., Ltd., one of Japan’s largest general trading
companies, following early operational results of the recently set-up Joint
Venture, have approved Buongiorno Hong Kong Ltd.’s business plan for 2006 and a
further investment up to US$ 7.6 million.

This investment aims to give JV adequate financial resources to develop
operations and succeed in seizing great opportunities of mobile VAS market in
Russia, and other Asia Pacific regions where JV is already active.

The investment comprises the initial invested capital of US$ 1.4 million,
communicated at the time of the JV set-up, and is made pro-quota by the
Shareholders (Buongiorno Vitaminic owns 49%, and Mitsui 51%).

The JV leverages on both Shareholders’ expertise, on Mitsui’s regional
alliance network and on Buongiorno’s global mobile technical and operational
skills.

In its first months of activities, Buongiorno Hong Kong has already
finalized strategic agreements, such as with leading Russian mobile operator
MegaFon, to provide services to more than 21 millions subscribers, and with
Times Internet Limited, (TIL) — the Internet venture of India’s largest media
Company — to offer expertise in conceiving and delivering interactive mobile
services and in CRM implementation and management, along with global support
for the implementation of its proprietary platform B!3A in TIL’s headquarters
in New Delhi.
