Catapult Test System Enables IP Network Upgrade in Korea
Catapult Communications Corporation (Nasdaq: CATT) today announced that it
has been selected by Korea Telecom (KT) to provide simulation and load testing
capabilities for the addition of IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) services to
their existing IP network. Catapult’s distributor, Tricomtek Co., Ltd., will
provide local technical expertise to assist Korea Telecom.
According to Bertrand Favier, Catapult Asia Pacific Sales Director, "Korea
Telecom carefully evaluated various testing tools and determined that Catapult
offers the best products for testing the major elements of IMS, including the
Call Session Control Function (CSCF), application server, presence server and

select the best equipment for their network, optimize their network
