New Desktop and Notebook PCs Offer Unprecedented Levels of Wireless

WLAN technology is now available in Gateway’s consumer lines of desktop and
notebook PCs. Marvell TopDog WLAN includes Multiple Input Multiple Output
(MIMO) technology which enables higher throughput and improved range over
currently available 802.11-based products. Supporting the 2.4 GHz and the
5GHz bands, as well as 20MHz and 40MHz channels, Marvell TopDog WLAN

performance of 300Mbps. Marvell TopDog is also completely interoperable and
backwards compatible with existing 802.11 solutions.
