TOKYO, Feb. 28 /Xinhua-PRNewswire/ –

"Machi-chara", Users’ Favorite Character, Joyfully Moves Around
the Handset Screen

HI CORPORATION (Headquarters: Meguro-ku, Tokyo; president and CEO: Kazuo
Kawabata; hereinafter "HI") announced today that HI had cooperated with NTT
DoCoMo (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo: president and CEO: Masao Nakamura;
hereinafter "DoCoMo") in developing new 3D content "Machi-chara" adopted by
DoCoMo for FOMA handsets: D903i released on November 14, 2007, D703i released
on February 2, 2007, and D903iTV released on February 16, 2007.

"Machi-chara" is content that has been developed so users will be more
attached to their handsets. Unlike a stand-by application screen replaced with
other displays, users can enjoy letting their favorite characters run freely on
various screens such as menu screen, browser, mail, and videophone, or change
the outfit of characters by specifying a special date such as the user’s
birthday.

HI will continue the effort of enhancing presentation features on handsets
using characters, such as "Chara-den", and now the newly introduced
"Machi-chara", and continue to promote the popularization of the character in
cooperation with DoCoMo.
