"BBDC is very proud to support 2007 China Open which has achieved great
success and witnessed the special award go to Chinese national female tennis
team, a fact has demonstrated the progressing momentum and huge potential for
the development of tennis sport in China and Chinese players as well. BBDC will
continue to commit itself to supporting sports endeavors in China, demonstrate
its esteemed corporate social responsibility and exhibit its products that are
always of high quality and high taste," said Chairman of BBDC Mr. Xu Heyi at
the closing ceremony, after having handed over the E 230 key to Chinese
national female tennis team.

As the premier sponsor, BBDC had provided 10 E-Class sedans to China Open
as official cars. During the half month tournament, top tennis players across
the world and many VIP visitors had taken E-Class to go back and forth the
competition venue and had been deeply impressed by the elegant style and
comfortable feelings of E-Class.

In addition, by visiting the E-Class display booth and test drive counter,
even more tennis fans had the intimate experience with the dynamism and passion
of E-Class. Apparently, with a more friendly position, the E-Class has gathered
more appeal and won more popularity.

Ever since its ancestor Mercedes-Benz 170, which dates back to 1947, with
overall worldwide sales approaching 10 million units, Mercedes-Benz E-Class has
been the most successful and leading model in the segment of executive car
market. At the end of 2005, E-Class realized local production in China. With
its safety, comfort, elegance and technology, the E-Class has become a top
choice for executives and taste-makers who yearn for a high quality and
fashionable vehicle and has been widely recognized as "the safest and most
comfortable luxury car in its class".

The E 230 that was awarded to Chinese national female tennis team is a new
addition to the local E-Class line-up and is specially designed for the Chinese
market. Carrying a 2.5-litre V6 engine, which is capable of powerful yet smooth
output, low noise emission and fuel consumption, E 230, with all other safety
and comfort features unique to E-Class, has been evaluated by Chinese media as
"a full-score car from inside to outside" and "the most balanced luxury car".
Such is E 230, a natural fit to Chinese national female tennis team, the
forever sunshine girls oozing with energy and dynamism.

At China Open, Peng Shuai secured a semi-final spot by beating Martina
Hingis of Switzerland, and Amelie Mauresmo of France. Meanwhile, Xinyun
Han/Yifan Xu also went into women’s doubles final. With such great results, the
Chinese national female tennis team has reached its new level and strived for
more glorious future together with Mercedes-Benz E 230.
